=================

This is a Congatec maitained x86 platform BSP.

Dependencies
  URI: git://git.openembedded.org/bitbake
  branch: dizzy

  URI: git://git.openembedded.org/openembedded-core
  layers: meta
  branch: dizzy

  URI: git://git.yoctoproject.org/meta-intel
  layers: intel
  branch: dizzy

Getting Sources (New Project)
  cd ~
  git clone git://git.yoctoproject.org/poky.git yocto -b dizzy
  cd ~/yocto
  git clone git://git.yoctoproject.org/meta-intel.git -b dizzy
  git clone https://git.congatec.com/x86/meta-congatec-x86.git -b dizzy

Configuration
  - Create build directory
      cd ~/yocto
      source oe-init-build-env ~/yocto/build

    This command create a new ~/yocto/build directory and jump there.

  - Edit conf/bblayers.conf to append a meta-congatec layer at end of BBLAYERS list.
         /home/honza/yocto/meta-yocto-bsp \
      +  /home/honza/yocto/meta-intel \
      +  /home/honza/yocto/meta-intel/meta-isg/meta-valleyisland \
      +  /home/honza/yocto/meta-intel/meta-tlk \
      +  /home/honza/yocto/meta-congatec-x86 \
         "

  - Edit conf/local.conf to include CGOS tools in your image. Append at the file end :
      IMAGE_INSTALL_append = " cgos"

    Change target platform from to congatec-qa3-64 (qemux86 is default):
         #MACHINE ?= "edgerouter"
         #
      +  MACHINE ?= "congatec-qa3-64"
         MACHINE ??= "qemux86"

    For parallel build append lines like following (example use with 4 core CPU) :
      BB_NUMBER_THREADS ?= "8"
      PARALLEL_MAKE ?= "-j 8"

    Accept and whitelist commercial licenses (check license files for details) :
      LICENSE_FLAGS_WHITELIST = "commercial"

  Copy image to the USB Mass Storage
    cd ~/yocto/build/tmp/deploy/images/congatec-qa3-64
    sudo dd if=core-image-minimal-congatec-qa3-64.hddimg of="$SD"
    sync

  Remove the USB Mass Storage (safely).
