Starting with Mesa 24.3, X11 protocol support for the DRI2 extension is no longer enabled by default. The developers are phasing it out in favor of DRI3, and have moved it into an optional 'legacy-x11' feature. Re-enable it to retain hardware acceleration on older systems that do not support DRI3. * gnu/packages/gl.el (mesa)[arguments]<#:configure-flags>: Add '-Dlegacy-x11=dri2'.
